    7. Non-adaptive wavefront control Requirements One of the objectives of OWL is diffraction limited imaging at all wavelengths. This is only possible with a concerted control of all optical elements correcting both the wavefront errors introduced by the optical elements themselves and those introduced by the atmosphere.
